Knotweed is an invasive plant species to Washington State, without prompt action, knotweed destroys native habitat, takes over entire riverbanks, and damages recreational quality of NW rivers.
Currently the Conservation District is working with Noxious Weed (Cowlitz or Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Department) to manage the issue in each county. Please contact Michelle Graham or Tirzah Gross for more information on the program.
